Recommened Use

Proprietary herbal blend which includes plants such as Yacon and Pasuchaca.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for pregnant and nursing pets and for pets with poorly controlled hypoglycemia. The leaves have demonstrated the potential to lower blood sugar and blood pressure levels and may potentiate insulin. Pets with diabetes and low blood pressure should be screened by their vet before and monitor blood sugar levels as medications may need adjustment.  

Drug Interactions

May enhance the effect of insulin, diabetic, anti-hypertensive and cholesterol lowering statin medications. 

Cautions

Cautioned for use with  insulin, diabetic, anti-hypertensive and cholesterol lowering statin medications. Cautioned for pets with gall bladder disease or bile duct obstruction by increasing bile flow.  

Dosage

Dogs & cats 13-25 pounds: 1 capsule, 2 times daily.

Dogs & cats 26-50 pounds: 2 capsules, 2 times daily.
